Meet Esther!
Finding Your Voice
Esther founded Chit n’ Chatter after spending three years as a qualified primary school teacher working in specialist education settings, where she developed a passion for advocating for neurodiversity and a commitment to neuro-affirming practice — recognising, respecting, and celebrating each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
This passion laid the foundation for her transition into speech pathology, where she has now worked as a speech pathologist for five years across a variety of environments, including private clinics, schools, and kindergartens.
Esther holds a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne. She has also completed training in:
-
Hanen More Than Words Program
-
Learn to Play Program
-
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Her practice is play-based and holistic, focusing on building strong, collaborative relationships with both children and their families to support individualised care. She has a particular interest in communication development and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and has experience supporting children with restricted or selective eating patterns.
She infuses creativity and fun into her work, ensuring that children are engaged and motivated to participate.
Outside of work, Esther enjoys spending time with her dog, hanging out with family and friends, baking (sourdough experiments are a current obsession), and rock climbing. She believes in practicing what she preaches—which means honouring her own need for movement, creativity, and connection.
Our Team
Meet Tofu, our resident therapy dog!
He absolutely loves pats—though he can be a bit aloof and cautious when meeting new people.
His favourite treat is cheese (and yes, he definitely knows when you have some!).

Don’t worry—Tofu will only join our sessions if you’d like him to!
